Now, on to the recipes!

Recipe 1:

Champagne is a celebration of life - it makes you feel special - no matter the occasion. So start with a glass of champs! No fancy recipe needed, though if you want to kick it up a notch, here's something to whip up:

Thyme is On Your Side

(serves several)

Ingredients

  1. 1/3 cup blackberries, plus 8 more for garnish

  2. 1/3 cup water

  3. 1/3 cup sugar

  4. Champagne

  5. Fresh thyme

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring the blackberries, water, and sugar to a boil. Turn to low and let simmer for 10 minutes. Strain blackberries and let the syrup cool.

  2. Add 2 tbsp. of syrup to the bottom of each glass. Top with champagne and add in a sprig of thyme and 2 blackberries. Voila!

Recipe 2:

Matcha White Hot Life Latte

(serves 2)

Ingredients

  1. ¼ cup white chocolate chips

  2. 2 cups unsweetened almond, cashew, or coconut milk

  3. 2 teaspoons ceremonial grade matcha (when manifesting an exceptional future, 'tis not the time to skimp on mediocre matcha!)

  4. 1 cup hot water

Instructions

  1. Melt the white chocolate together with ½ cup of milk. Stir until smooth, then add the remaining milk. Set aside.

  2. Sift matcha into 1 cup hot water and whisk until combined and frothy. (If you don't sift, you could have clumps! If you're using a traditional bamboo whisk, start with just 2 oz of hot water, whisk, then add the remaining water.)

  3. Combine your matcha with the milk/white chocolate mixture, stir, and pour into 2 mugs. Top with marshmallows and consider them bonus wishes for the years ahead.

Recipe 3:

Maple and Spice and Everything Nice

(serves 2-3)

Ingredients

  1. 5 cups fresh apple cider

  2. 2 shots maple syrup

  3. 4 cinnamon sticks

  4. 1/2 an apple, sliced

  5. 4 oz bourbon, optional

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat, combine 5 cups apple cider, 2 shots maple syrup, 4 cinnamon sticks, handful of cranberries, 1/2 an apple (sliced), and 4 oz bourbon (optional).

  2. Let simmer, then reduce heat to low and allow the cider to cook for 15 minutes.

  3. Pour cider into mugs, tossing the cinnamon sticks aside or using them as a garnish. Serve warm.
