An Easy, 3-Step Process to Move the Needle
As a small business owner, it’s easy to be swept up into all of the things you should be doing for your business… social media, email lists, Clubhouse rooms, interviews, writing blogs, the list goes on and on.
And sometimes, in the middle of all of those to-do lists, we start to realize we’re just sitting treading water. We aren’t growing and we aren’t moving the needle forward in our business.
To achieve the goals we set for ourselves, it’s important to focus most on what we can do to move forward - not stand still. Here’s an easy 3-step process to move the needle TODAY in your business.
Turn off all distractions.
Instagram. Email. Your cat. (Just kidding about the last part, but do your best to minimize distractions for the next 3 hours.) Light a candle or set the mood. Repeat this mantra 10 times with a smile on your face: "I am magnetic. People can't wait to work with me / buy from me." You’ll be amazed how much you can get done in just a few hours when you aren’t distracted.
Decide on ONE small goal.
Get a new subscriber on your wait list. Tell a warm lead about a new offer. Sell a new product to a loyal customer. For every win, lean into those vibrations, then keep going until your 3 hours are up. You may notice a trickle turns into a stream.
Use the strategy you already know to be effective.
This isn't the time to experiment. If you get great leads when you post and engage on Instagram, spend the next hour there. If you get great leads in Clubhouse, go hop into some Clubhouse rooms. If you get great responses when you call or email your previous clients, do that! A valid and tested strategy that you are confident in will always move you farther than a strategy you have doubts about. Remember, energy is everything.
